The Details You Enter Into Our Tools

Our tools work by asking for birth details typically a date a time, and a place of birth so we can generate accurate personalized results. Depending on which tool you’re using, this might be a single set of details for a birth chart, or two sets of details if you are comparing yourself with someone else. As we add new tools to the Site over time, this may extend to other similar details needed to run a calculation but the idea stays the same: we only ask for what’s actually needed to give you your result.This information is used only to produce the result you are asking for at that moment. We do not use it to build a profile of you we don’t track you across other websites using it and we don’t sell it to anyone.If you are entering someone else’s details into a comparison style tool please make sure you have their permission to do so since you’re sharing their information with us on their behalf.

Do We Store Your Birth Details?

Our calculators are built to give you an instant result, not to hold onto your information afterward for future use. We do not ask you to create an account, we don’t log you in and we don’t build a saved history of your past readings tied to your name or identity. Each time you use a tool you’re essentially starting fresh.

What Happens Automatically in the Background

Like almost every website ours picks up some technical information automatically just from you visiting things like your browser type, your general region based on your IP address the device you’re using and which pages you looked at. This is standard activity data that most websites collect and it isn’t tied to your birth details or your name. We use it to keep the Site running properly, catch any technical issues and see which parts of it are actually useful to people so we can improve them.

Cookies

The Site uses cookies for basic functionality and to understand traffic patterns such as how many people visit a page and how they move around the Site. Cookies are small files stored on your device and your browser lets you block or delete them at any time through its settings. Doing so may affect how well certain features of the Site work but it won’t stop you from using the core calculators.

AstroSigns shows ads on the Site to help keep our tools free to use for everyone. How Long We Keep Information

Because there is no account system on AstroSigns there isn’t a personal profile tied to you that you would need to log into or manage. If you have contacted us directly through email and shared information you would like corrected or removed just let us know and we will take care of it as quickly as we can.

Keeping Your Information Reasonably Safe

We take sensible precautions to protect the information that passes through the Site, including keeping our systems reasonably up to date and limiting who has access to any data we do handle. That said no online system is ever completely risk free so we can’t promise absolute security only that we take it seriously and do our best to minimize the risk.

A Note on External Links

You might occasionally come across a link on the Site that takes you somewhere else sometimes through an ad sometimes through other content we reference. Once you click through you are then subject to that site’s own terms not ours so it is a good idea to check how they handle privacy before sharing anything there.

AstroSigns is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone in that age group. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has shared information with us please reach out and we’ll remove it as soon as we can.
